When I found out that David Bowie died, I was at work. I've seen fake death notices before, and I didn't care much. I saw that Bowie's Facebook and Twitter pages mentioned that he had died, but nothing, nothing more. And then, his son wrote that it's true. It kind of fell through. People continued working, regardless. It's as though I could not understand any of them. I grew to within. I cried in an office bathroom. Then came out and read The Guardian's live-stream, which was a web page that continuously was updated throughout the day, with details and mostly remembrances from people who cherished him as an artist, and loved his music. I did, too; I do.
His last album, "Blackstar", may be his best. It's either 9/10 or 10/10, can't decide. Regardless of that pithy stuff, here's a list of stuff I collated and wrote just after Bowie died, trickled down in chronologic order, oldest top.
