From Memeklas, the blogger formerly known as Niklas: if you're not going to sing "Stairway to Heaven" backwards, you can always be Stephen Colbert and rule the USA. Just like Jon Stewart loves him to. But why not double-talk like Lady Dubya? Watch that clip from "The Daily Show" and marvel at her amazing rhetorics. Or you can stop and wonder why people uninstall Firefox, while Apple hates Somethingawful for discussing why the new Macintosh laptops run at 95 degrees Celsius at times.
Or you could opt to see "Mission Impossible 3" like Xenu would. Oh, don't we love the guy wearing a tee that says "Psychiatry is a FRAUD"? I'd like to inject that man with ten café lattes; the effect, oh, the effect. Like Sarah Silverman as David Chappelle.
Oh, The Jesus And Mary Chain are reissuing all their albums, or rather, Rhino are, come 2006-06-11. Finally:
The Dual Disc packages feature a remastered version of the album on the audio side, while the DVD side boasts a high-resolution audio mix and three music videos from the era.
I've basically worn out their "Psychocandy" as I've played it more than fifty times (without exaggeration) already. I will get all of these reissues, yes, I will. In the mean-time, feel free to get hold of Rhino's 180-gram vinyl-version of "Psychocandy". The "Upcoming Releases-page" at Rhino doesn't reveal much yet on the reissues, but I'm waiting, waiting.
And I might be able to enjoy them with the coming Sony MDR-EX90SL 13.5mm In-Ear Headset. Looking nice at 100USD. More info here.
