Why Libero/Essity are hypocrites and should be avoided

Quite recently, the diaper-brand Libero started running a new TV commercial on Swedish TV.

The ads show infant humans crawling around in the jungle while meeting supposedly wild infant animals, e.g., a chimpanzee and a lion.

The text reads 'For the future of the animal babies'.

We're made to think that humans are destroying Earth, but hark! Libero has come to bring us containers for our spawn's shite and pish that will save animals and humans alike.

In the ad, a human infant opens the cage that the lion is in. The lion escapes.

All this goes on while an acid-jazz version of Twisted Sisters' We're Not Gonna Take It plays.

Now, let's dig into Essity, the owner of Libero.

How about this:

  1. Libero/Essity are even worse than fucking Tiger King.

The animals are jailed. It's not like the animals in the ad joined by their own volition. They're 'domesticated', i.e. broken down and kept behind bars.

So, that's how Libero wants you to treat your infant young, regardless of their being human or animal?

  2. Libero/Essity aggrevate global warming and mass extinction.

What the fuck.

We have just launched a campaign showing how Essity, a Swedish tissue producer of well-known brands like Velvet and Cushelle, is linked to the destruction of parts of the Great Northern Forest. The tissue giant uses pulp from mills that are supplied by logging companies which clearcut some of Sweden’s last remaining old-growth forests, wiping away habitats of threatened species and endangering the livelihood of indigenous communities.

Greenpeace activists protest against Essity, demanding that they ‘stop wiping away the forests’. Essity is the world’s second-largest tissue producer. The company uses pulp from suppliers that source wood from critical forest landscapes in the Great Northern Forest.

Yeah, let's not use Libero's or Essity's products. Thanks.

P.s. What is that fucking awful tagline, 'babies for babies'? Idiots.
